Dawn Neupert was named the Adelaide M. Schlafly Preschool Teacher of the Year by the St. Louis Public Schools.

An educator with the district since 2005, Neupert has a certificate in early childhood, a K-12 reading specialist certificate and gifted certification. She serves as a gifted preschool teacher at Mallinckrodt Academy of Gifted Instruction in South City.

Neupert received a $1,000 check from the St. Louis Public Schools Foundation. She also received two plaques and a $500 certificate for professional development through the Parsons Blewett Memorial Fund.
