The Jefferson College board of trustees recently recognized 13 employees who have retired from the college.

Retiring were Darla Boyer, area technical school digital media technology teacher, 22 years; Ron Boyer, electronics professor, 26 years; Cliff Castle, physics professor, 35 years; Dan Ellington, network specialist, 35.5 years; Carolyn Elphingstone, social science division chairperson, 13 years; Hoyt Garzia, maintenance technician, 20 years; Julia Hampton, dean of student services, 32 years; Jerry Herget, building services technician, 29.5 years; Trish Loomis, English professor and honors program director, 38 years; Tuni Miller, nursing director, 5 years; Wes Robertson, speech and drama professor, 37 years; Fern Schuessler, nursing assistant professor, 14 years; and Jim Watson, professor of economics, 32 years.
