• Alexander Winfield Scott of Hazelwood was named to the spring 2011 semester dean's list at Washington University. Scott, a graduate of De Smet Jesuit High School, is enrolled in the university's College of Arts and Sciences.

• Rachel Beckemeyer of Florissant was named a Distinguished Scholar at Rockford College for the spring 2011 semester. Distinguished Scholars have earned at least a 3.75 grade point average with no grades below C.
