The Valley Park School District is seeking nominations for its annual Above and Beyond for Children and Community Recognition Awards.

The awards will be presented at a Board of Education meeting in the spring.

The district has honored more than 18 people with the Above and Beyond for Children Award since its inception in 2003. Any employee, parent, resident or friend of the district is eligible for nomination.

In 2005, the district established the Community Recognition Award. It was designed to recognize any local business or community organization that has a continuing relationship with the district and whose partnership has reflected a positive impact on student achievement, school improvement, and the overall educational experience in the district.

Completed forms should be mailed to Valley Park School District, One Main Street, Valley Park, 63088, by no later than Monday, Feb. 27.
