Valley Park School District will have a kindergarten registration week from Feb. 27 to March 2 for children who will be entering kindergarten in fall 2012.

Registration will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Valley Park Elementary School office, One Main Street.

To qualify, children must be five years old as of Aug. 1, 2012.

For enrollment, parents or legal guardians should bring their child's birth certificate, Social Security number and immunization records. In addition, two proofs of residency are required for registration. Acceptable forms are a signed lease agreement, an occupancy permit, a personal property tax receipt and an unpaid gas or electric utility bill.
