The Diabetes Education Program at St. Anthony's Medical Center will offer a free presentation, titled "Dining Out in South County." It will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Hyland Education and Training Center, 10020 Kennerly Road, on the St. Anthony's campus in Sappington.
The presentation is part of the Talk Diabetes Support Program Live meeting series. It is designed to help individuals diagnosed with diabetes stay well and in control of their disease. The program will offer participants an interactive discussion on ways to manage diabetes when dining out, featuring menus from restaurants in their own neighborhood. There will be door prizes, as well as a "recycle" table for swapping magazines, books and coupons.
