A free St. Louis County Police-West County Precinct Citizens Police Academy will start on Feb. 29.

Classes will be from 7 to 9 p.m. on eight consecutive Wednesdays at the precinct headquarters, 232 Vance Road, Valley Park.

Attendees will learn about police patrol and other procedures and learn how residents can aid police.
