To the editor:
I have always thought the people who call in to Town Talk were a little strange and now I'm convinced of it.
In the Dec. 14 Journal, one of those strange people complained about the new bridge that's planned on Kingshighway. This strange person states there should not be a bridge at all. The caller says instead of a bridge, they should build a four-lane highway.
Excuse me, but I believe there are a couple dozen railroad tracks beneath that bridge. Do we put up railroad crossings at each track or do we expect the trains to stop for each automobile?
Just goes to show what picking up the phone and engaging your mouth before you engage your brain will do to you.
