Two men and two women from Miami have each been charged in St. Charles County with one count of forgery and one count of identity theft.

Using numbers on credit cards belonging to victims in four different states, the suspects on Feb. 8 allegedly rang up $2,961.61 worth of purchases at three Walgreens in St. Charles County, according to court documents. The stores at 4492 Central School Road, 1305 Jungerman Road and 1661 Jungerman Road.

On Feb. 9, county prosecutors filed charges against Marlon Ardite, 36; Danay Milagros Abad-Gonzalez, 31; Osleyda Martinez, 42; and Dayan Rodriguez, 21. All were in custody Friday in the county jail in lieu of $100,000 cash-only bond.

Each of the four victims told police they were still in possession of the cards when the card numbers were used. The victims are in Auburn, Ill.; Farmingdale, N.Y.; Ferriday, La.; and Liberty, Ky.

The four suspects purchased gift cards, beauty products and other items with the stolen card numbers, according to court documents. Ardite allegedly made the largest purchase of $1,023.80 for four American Express gift cards at the Walgreens at 1305 Jungerman Road.

When taken into custody, the four suspects had 50 debit cards and 40 recently purchased gift cards valued at $10,000.
