Don't they have rights?

This is in answer to an article in the paper about St. Peters denying someone to rent their home for a group home for developmentally disabled people. Does St. Peters deny pedophiles and sex offenders to live in St. Peters? I doubt that, because they have rights. And developmentally disabled people, do they not have rights?

Hands off displays

This is a call for all the kids that cannot leave people's Christmas lights and displays alone. Please be respectful and leave our Christmas displays alone. I hope parents read this so they can talk to their children about it.

Don't forget other parks

I have a New Year's resolution for the city of St. Peters. Don't forget your local parks. You've been concentrating so much on the Lakeside 370 Park that you're forgetting about all of your neighborhood parks. All were very nice parks, but I noticed they're starting to go down hill. I live close to Rabbit Run and it's nothing but a swamp since all this development's been around here. It didn't used to be that way. It can be made into a very nice park again. It's got all the features, trees and everything. We just need to improve the drainage. So please don't forget us, St. Peters.

Taxpayer will remember

Due to the difficulties I had trying to find out how much my tax bill is for St. Charles County, (Collector) Michelle McBride need not run the next time they have an election. As a taxpayer, I will remember how this was handled.

Just mail it in

What is the matter with people? Why can't they just take their (tax) bill and mail it? All they have to do is when they get their mail, send it in and pay the bill. Why all the grief? It's nothing but a bunch of grandstanding by (County Executive Steve) Ehlmann. Let the woman do her job.
