• For more on Branson, visit explorebranson.com
• For tickets to shows, you can visit the individual websites mentioned, bransontourismcenter.com or ticketmaster.com. Several shops (you can't miss them) offer half-price tickets, but beware: Many are trying to sell you a timeshare or condo. Your best bet may be to check with the front desk at your hotel. They often have access to discount tickets. Travel agents also offer deals and have access to good seats. In addition to adult and child prices, many also have teen prices (ages vary). Prices vary by day and are subject to change.
• Maps of Branson are available at the tourism centers around town. Major routes are coded by color. Several readers to my blog, Travels with Amy, suggested staying away from Highway 76, the main road in Branson that's also known as the green route. You should drive it once to get a feel for the place, but try to stay on the other routes to avoid major traffic congestion.
