Who and where • Norma Deen Juracsik of Clayton stops for a picture while hiking Glacier National Park's Logan Pass in Montana.

The trip • Juracsik took Amtrak's Empire Builder train from Chicago to Montana, passing through parts of the Lewis and Clark Trail and the Missouri and Mississippi rivers.

Travel tip • To avoid bear attacks, Juracsik says her tour guides in the park gave the animals lots of room whenever they spotted one, and they carried a special spray in case a bear showed aggression toward humans.

Contribute • Send photos to Bring It On Home, c/o Explore, St. Louis Post-Dispatch, 900 North Tucker Boulevard, St. Louis, Mo. 63101. Include the full names of everyone in the photo, your address and phone number, and a travel tip. We're looking for interesting, well-composed, well-lighted photos. Photos will not be returned.
