The idea of gondolas gliding along the waters of Brush Creek is surreal to a Kansas City native, but the experience was a lot of fun. Options range from a group rides to "closed-curtain" private excursions. The Midwestern gondoliers are polite and capable; the recorded music features Neapolitan songs performed by Italian tenors. Packages, some featuring red roses, chocolates and sparkling wine, are available for special events.
