First Baptist Church • Designed by Harry Weese and completed in 1965, it sits on the brow of a gently sloping knoll.

First Christian Church • Designed by Eliel Saarinen and completed in 1942, it was one of the first churches of contemporary architecture in the United States.

First Financial Bank (formerly Irwin Union Bank and Trust) • Designed by Eero Saarinen with landscaping by Dan Kiley, this low, glass-walled building is set in a grove of trees.

McDowell Adult Education Center • Architect John Carl Warnecke designed McDowell in 1960 as an elementary school with four clustered buildings and connecting open-air walkways.

North Christian Church • Completed in 1964, this was the last building designed by Eero Saarinen. The sloping roof of this six-sided building blends with the Dan Kiley landscaped earth-mound that surrounds it.

Miller House & Garden • The residence of J. Irwin Miller, this modernist masterpiece built in 1957 was designed by Eero Saarinen with landscaping by Dan Kiley and textiles by Alexander Girard.
