Visitors should allow at least three to four hours to peruse the three floors of exhibits. These items are special interest to St. Louisans:
• The 1925 MVP medal of Cardinals infielder Rogers Hornsby.
• A baseball cap and jersey that Dizzy Dean wore in 1934, when his 30-7 record made him the last National Leaguer to win 30 games in a season. He captured the league's MVP Award and led the Cardinals to a World Series championship.
• Browns player Rick Ferrell's catcher's mask, from 1942.
• Enos Slaughter's Cardinals jacket, from 1942.
• The catcher's mitt that Myron "Red" Hayworth of the Browns used in the 1944 World Series.
• Satchel Paige's Browns home jersey from 1952, when, at the age of 45, he paced the Brownies' staff with 12 wins and a 3.07 ERA.
• The pen Stan Musial used to sign his contract for his 20th active season with Cardinals on Jan. 25, 1961.
• The batting glove Lou Brock wore for his 3,000th career hit, in 1979.
Hours • 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day; otherwise, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.
