What you'll spend • A sample package I priced on disneyworld.com, for February, included four nights at a moderately priced resort, five days of park tickets and the Disney Dining Plan for a family of four for less than $2,000, not including airfare.

For the first time in history, both Magic Kingdom Park in Florida and Disneyland Park in California will be open for 24 hours straight, to celebrate Leap Day.

Beginning at 6 a.m. on Feb. 29 you can enjoy select attractions and entertainment for 24 hours nonstop. I could only last about 13 hours when I took my kids a year ago, but if you've got older kids, this could be a blast.

And Disney also just announced they are giving a vacation away every day from now through Feb. 29. The package includes one 4-night/5-day Disney vacation for four, including airfare, accommodations, theme park tickets and more. To enter type the keyword "DISNEYDAY" as an SMS text message to the SMS shortcode "347639" ("DISNEY"). Message and data rates may apply. Or to enter online for free, follow the instructions on this website. Limit one entry per day.
