Universal Studios Orlando just announced in a webcast this morning, several big updates and changes to its parks. If the video I saw this morning is any indication, these look like amazing additions to a theme park I already love. 

* New Universal Super Star Parade: Featuring floats, singing, dancing and characters from "Despicable Me," "Dora and Diego," "Hop" and "SpongeBob SquarePants." Starting this spring. 

* The new Despicable Me Minion Mayhem ride will open his summer. 

* Updates to the super-popular Spider-Man ride, including new special effects and a cameo by comic creator Stan Lee, will be ready in March. 

* A new "interactive party experience" featuring the Blue Man Group. Opening in February. 

* A new nighttime show, the Universal Cinematic Spectacular, featuring 100 years of epic cinematic moments. Starting this spring.
