Details for MODOT - Northeast District - Ad from 2020-10-16

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT)
is soliciting Letters of Interest from companies interested
in providing Design-Build services for the FARM Bridge
Program in the Northeast and Northwest Districts.
The project’s primary purpose is to replace up to 41 deficient
bridges across these 2 districts. These bridges are located on
low-volume routes and are:
• Weight-restricted
• In poor condition
• On timber pile
• One-lane but carry two-way traffic
One Design-Build team will be selected to design and construct
the project. MoDOT will use a Best Value selection process to
evaluate the ability of the Design-Build proposers to meet or
exceed the following project goals:
• Safely deliver the project within the program budget of
$21.98 million on or before October 31, 2023
• Use innovation to maximize the number of locations
to be addressed
• Provide quality long-lasting structures
• Minimize public inconvenience through increased
construction speed and flexibility in scheduling
A virtual information presentation is scheduled from 1 p.m.
to 4 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2020. A link to the meeting
will be available on the project website, It is anticipated the Request for Qualifications
(RFQ) will be released on the same day as the presentation.
Firms interested in receiving FARM Bridge Program DesignBuild information should send a one-page Letter of Interest
to MoDOT by registered mail, or similar delivery method that
indicates proof of receipt, no later than Monday, November
9, 2020, to ensure that you receive all information. The Letters
of Interest will allow MoDOT to compile a list of interested
companies for notices and any announcements relating to the
FARM Bridge Program Design-Build Project.

Include in your Letter of Interest the company name and
a contact person at your company including, address,
phone, and e-mail. If your firm is a Disadvantaged Business
Enterprise (DBE), indicate with which local or state agencies
you are certified.
