Printing services firm Cenveo is finishing construction this month on a $4 million expansion of its facility in Eureka.

Stamford, Conn.-based Cenveo is adding 44,000 square feet of space to an existing 220,000-square foot facility to add digital print production, direct mail and other production equipment. Contegra Construction is the general contractor on the project.

As part of the expansion, Cenveo has hired 52 new employees in recent months, bringing its local workforce to 176, and has 10 additional job openings, said David Hunnius, vice president of sales and operations at Cenveo.

In 2010, Cenveo consolidated two printing plants in Sunset Hills and Crestwood to the former Visteon plant in Eureka.

"Our customers have really pushed us to have much more of a complete offering in one location," Hunnius said.
