Clayco has acquired Chicago-based architectural firm Lamar Johnson Collaborative.
Financial terms were not disclosed. LJC will become a branded business group alongside St. Louis-based architecture and design firm Bates Forum, which is co-owned by Clayco. LCJ's CEO Lamar Johnson will provide leadership for the overall design business within Clayco, the company said Wednesday.
Chicago-based real estate and development firm Clayco had more than $2 billion in revenue in 2017. The LJC acquisition creates an integrated practice with 225 professionals in Chicago, St. Louis, San Francisco, Springfield, Mo., and Rogers, Ark.
