K-V Pharmaceutical gets delisting warning

The New York Stock Exchange notified K-V Pharmaceutical Co. that its common stock faces delisting for after its average closing price fell below $1 a share for 30 consecutive days.

The Bridgeton-based drug maker has six months to cure the deficiency, the company said in a regulatory filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission Friday. Beginning July 3, K-V's Class A common shares and Class B common shares will trade under the symbols “KVa.BC” and “KVb.BC,” respectively, the company said in the filing.
