ST. LOUIS — A $50 million, 200-unit apartment complex has been proposed for 4545 Laclede Avenue in the Central West
Alderman Joe Roddy, D-17th Ward, said Tuesday that the seven-story building would include a two-floor garage with 230 spaces. It would replace a smaller two-story apartment building and parking lot.
The developer, the Koman Group, will discuss the proposal at a town hall meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at 40 North Euclid Avenue, Roddy said.
The developer is seeking tax incentives for less than 10 years but details are still under negotiation with city officials, Roddy said. The development is part of ongoing efforts to spur additional density in the area.
