By the end of this month, 132 gas stations in Missouri and Illinois — primarily in the St. Louis region — will have rebranded as Circle K locations.
Some customers already noticed the change in recent weeks as gas stations previously operating under Shell and other fuel brands rebranded as Circle K.
"These sites, primarily in the St. Louis metro area and central and southern Illinois markets, currently dispense a multitude of fuel brands," Canadian-based Couche-Tard, Circle K's parent company, said in a statement Wednesday. "The introduction of Circle K fuel at these sites is a pivotal part of the full rebranding of Circle K locations, representing convenient products and easy, welcoming visits."
Additional sites in the region will be converted over the next several months, the company said.
Couche-Tard has 9,943 convenience stores in North America and is Canada's largest convenience store operator.
