Lewis recently made a particular splash at the Emmy Awards when she showed up decked out in all-Nike.
“The Mother of Black Hollywood” is the name of Lewis’ recent bestseller. She adopted that name after playing the mother of so many black actors and actresses in the movies. She promoted the book recently at an event at the Loretto-Hilton Center for the Performing Arts at Webster University.
