Brewers once again sold less beer in Missouri, according to fiscal 2015 data compiled by the state's Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control.

For the fiscal year that ended June 30, brewers sold 128.5 million gallons of beer, a 3 percent decline compared with fiscal 2014 when 131.5 million gallons of beer were sold statewide. In 2014, Missouri beer sales dropped 2 percent

Missouri collected $7.7 million in excise taxes in fiscal 2015, down from $7.9 million in 2014.

St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch, the U.S. subsidiary of A-B InBev, remained the top beer seller in the state, with 76.8 million gallons sold, down from 80.85 million gallons in fiscal 2014.

Crown Imports, which sells Corona beer in the U.S., increased sales to 3.18 million gallons, making it the third largest seller of beer in Missouri after A-B and MillerCoors.

Several craft brewers saw gains, including St. Louis-based Urban Chestnut, which grew to 363,130 gallons, up from 221,744 in fiscal 2014. Brentwood-based William K. Busch Brewing Co., maker of Kraftig lager and Kraftig light, also grew, increasing sales to 358,889 gallons, up from 279,071 gallons in fiscal 2014.
