Scape American Bistro will close after Easter brunch service on April 21, the Central West End restaurant announced Tuesday.

“We had a great run, and we’d like the thank our loyal customers, neighbors and staff for joining us over the past dozen years,” owner Ted Koplar said in a statement.

Scape opened in October 2007 at 48 Maryland Plaza.

“We are proud of what we achieved, and we are looking forward to the next chapter of Maryland Plaza,” Koplar said in a statement.

According to the press release announcing Scape's closure, Koplar Properties is in “advanced discussions with parties interested in the space.”
