Korean-Mexican fast casual restaurant Seoul Taco announced plans Thursday to open a new location in the Grove.

Owner David Choi says the restaurant will be one of the retail outposts in the luxury Chroma apartment building (formerly called Chouteau's Grove) at 4087 Chouteau Avenue. The restaurant will open in summer 2019.

“As we continue to grow the Seoul Taco brand, it is important to that we are staying connected to our St. Louis roots,” Choi said in a media release. “The Grove is a vibrant community that represents the city’s continued growth and development.”

Restaurant critic Ian Froeb named Seoul Taco to his annual list of top 100 restaurants in St. Louis, saying "Of all the food trucks that have rolled through St. Louis this decade, few, if any, have been as successful as Seoul Taco. ...  My most recent visits, I’m happy to report, have found Seoul Taco’s Korean-Mexican fusion fare returned to top form and its place on this list."

The restaurant has locations on Delmar Boulevard and in Chesterfield, Columbia, Mo., Champaign, Ill., and Chicago.
