Rapper RZA of legendary hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan participates in a panel discussion Thursday morning in St. Louis looking at the issues facing today's youth and how chess can be a powerful tool for positive action.

The discussion is at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Demetrious Johnson Foundation and Community Center (724 Union Blvd.) and is open to the public.

The panel is geared to students, educators and civic leaders.

The World Chess Hall of Fame is partnering with Johnson to make this happen.

The panel is inspired by WCHOF's new exhibition's "Living Like Kings: The Collision of Chess and Hip-Hop Culture" which has its opening reception Thursday at the museum.

Also on the panel are Johnson, Adisa Banjoko, founder and director of the Hip-Hop Chess Federation, and Suan Barrett of the World Chess Hall of Fame.
