All kinds of art in St. Louis over the weekend
The Contemporary Art Museum sponsored Open Studios STL, a three-day city wide art festival, in which more than 170 local artist opened up their studios, held live demonstrations of their work and did hand on mini workshops. Also 142 Graffiti artist gave the flood wall south of the Arch on Wharf Street an update.

Paint Louis, St. Louis graffitiwall

Graffiti artist "Phers" paints part of a mural on the flood wall south of the Arch in St. Louis during the St. Louis Pride Art Festival on Friday, June 21, 2013. The art festival is an effort to revive Paint Louis, an event that attracted graffiti artist from around the country in the late 1990's and early 2000's. This year's event expects to attract about 150 graffiti artists and they'll be spread out painting over about a quarter mile of the three mile long wall. The show continues Saturday and into Sunday when the artist will be cleaning up and putting the finishing touches on some pieces of work.
