What is a QR code?

Quick Response, or QR, codes, are square-shaped two-dimensional bar codes. The Post-Dispatch is using QR codes to connect interactive content, such as a related website or video.

To "read" these boxy black-and-white bar codes, you'll need a smartphone. Download a QR code reader: We recommend RedLaser, QR App or ScanLife, all available for free. (Android phones come with QR readers.)

Use the QR reader to capture the code; you will be redirected to a related story or video or other interactive content. Capture the QR code to the left and you will be redirected to stltoday.com.

Don't have a smart phone? Don't worry — when you see a QR code in the paper, just head to stltoday.com/qrcodes, and we'll provide links to the same great information.
