Katherine Rose Stieren and Capt. Mark Nicholas Rademeyer were married July 3, 2016, at the Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park. The Rev. Scott Tessin performed the ceremony with music by the Heritage String Quartet. At a reception in the Grand Hall of St. Louis Union Station, music was provided by Rhythm of the Night.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel Richard and Tamera Stieren and the groom's parents are Raymond Mark and Lisa Rademeyer, all of south St. Louis County.
Ellie Koehly of Baltimore, Md., and Alexandra Pivac of Denver, Colo., were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Courtney Robertson, Danielle Meyer, Alexa Brown and Alana Follen, all of St. Louis, and Mallory Hanneke of Las Vegas, Nev., Krista Scoville of San Diego, Calif., Ashley Stream of Chicago, Ill., and Christie Henderson of Sneads Ferry, N.C.
Best man was Daniel Kloeckener of St. Louis. Groomsmen were Austin Rademeyer, Timothy O'Neill, William Kiehne, Daniel Stieren and Benjamin Stieren, all of St. Louis; plus Lars Scoville of San Diego, Capt. Davis Love of Yuma, Ariz. and Capt. Edward Henderson of Sneads Ferry. Ushers were 1st Lt. Armando Torres and 1st Lt. Kurt Hinck, both of Surf City, N.C.
The newlyweds traveled in Greece, Italy and Switzerland during an August honeymoon before making their home in Sneads Ferry. Both graduated from Mehlville High School. The groom, an engineering graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, is headquarters and service company commander, 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion, at Marine Corps Base Camp, Lejeune, N.C. The bride, with a bachelor's degree in journalism and master's degree in education in art education from the University of Missouri-Columbia, is an elementary art teacher in North Carolina.
