This week as area farmers rev back up for the season, get ready to see signs of spring: fresh flowers, plants for your garden, even live music. In the produce department you’ll find spring greens of all kinds including kale, spinach, Swiss chard and more. You’ll also find the first strawberries of the season, carrots, beets, asparagus, microgreens and green onions as well as fresh herbs such as basil, rosemary and more. To help you use that kale, here is recipe from last year’s Let’s Eat section for Hearty Tuscan Bean Stew.
