Last week's pet, still available: Kash

Kash is a 5-year-old Labrador retriever mix who came to the Humane Society of Missouri in late January. Kash is a large handsome boy who would love a home where can get lots of exercise. He is a polite and friendly fellow who loves home life and is being potty trained. He would love a family to continue his training and lavish him with lots of attention.

Last week's pet, still available: Four

This sweet boy is Four, a 3-year-old Douge de Bordeaux mix who came to the Humane Society of Missouri in mid-January after his owner was made homeless and was no longer able to provide for him. Four is super friendly, well-behaved, loves children and is housebroken. He’s a down-on-his-luck pup who deserves a loving home.

Last week's pet, still available: Miss Fark

Meet Miss Fark, a 16-year-old unaltered female, bay thoroughbred who came to Longmeadow in late 2018 after being lightly raced for several years. She is a nicely built mare with an eye-catching blaze. Miss Fark was diagnosed with mild kissing spine. After extensive rehabilitation, trainers have found that she struggles with back pain when in consistent work. At this point in time, we are looking to adopt Miss Fark out as a pasture pet. She gets along well with both mares and geldings but does tend to be a more dominant personality in the pasture.

Last week's pet, still available: Valentine

Didn’t receive a Valentine this year? We can fix that. Valentine is a 3-year-old unaltered female grade horse who came to Longmeadow in 2020. Valentine is an extremely sweet filly who came from a neglect situation. From day one at the ranch, she has been nothing but kind, attentive and intelligent. Valentine is easy going and gets along with both animals and humans alike. Valentine is going to be on the smaller side, as her sire and dam are ponies. Due to her age, we will require that Valentine goes to a home with experience working with young horses.
