Pet of the week: Kimchi

This is Kimchi, an 8-month-old pointer mix who came to the Humane Society of Missouri as a stray in late December. She is a sweet girl who is house-trained and gets along well with everyone.

Meet Hector, a 9-month-old potbellied pig who came to Longmeadow in early October. Hector is a happy-go-lucky, adolescent potbellied pig. When he's not snuggled up in a thick bed of hay in his "pig-loo," he loves hanging out with his roommate and brother, Perez. Hector was a bit shy when he arrived at the Ranch but has since come out of his shell and will greet a treat holder with a wagging tail and piggy chatter.

Pet of the week: Doris

Doris is a 2-year-old female Holland lop mix rabbit who came to the Humane Society of Missouri in early January. Doris is an adorable bunny with soft fur and beautiful ears.

This is Cinnabun, a 1-year-old shorthaired rabbit with red and white fur who came to the Humane Society of Missouri in late November. He is a big and sweet boy who is very social and loves his salads.

Meet Akers, a 2-year-old neutered male sheep who came to Longmeadow in April 2022. This handsome boy is half-Dorper, half-Katahdin, and full gentleman. His combined breeds are known for being easy keepers and great lawnmowers, with no shearing necessary. He will require his future adopter to have other sheep friends to keep him company.

Emmett is a 7-year-old domestic medium-hair cat who came to the shelter in late December. Emmett is a sweet old boy with fluffy sideburns and a great personality.
