This is Samba, a 2-year-old Anatolian shepherd who weighs in at 61 pounds. She came is as a stray, so we do not know much about her home life, but we do know that she is a very sweet and attentive girl that likes to be around people. She is a big goof who will play catch by herself and keep herself entertained but also knows when to settle. Samba also likes to check in with her person by walking up and saying hello by bumping either your arm or hand with her nose for pets.

Meet AJ, a 9-year-old Appaloosa and quarter horse mix who came to Longmeadow in early 2021. She was one of the more nervous mares in her group, but after some time at the ranch she has started to settle in. At this time, trainers require an advanced rider or a professional trainer to continue her training. AJ tends to be on the flightier side and will need an adopter with patience and skill to gain AJ’s confidence.
