The gazebo in a Cleveland park where a 12-year-old boy was shot and killed is headed to a museum for display.
The gazebo was set to be dismantled Wednesday and shipped to a Chicago museum for part of a display. Tamir Rice was shot and killed by a white police officer who believed the pellet gun the child was holding was real.
The gazebo became a makeshift memorial to Rice. It will be shipped to Chicago's Stony Island Arts Bank.
The shooting wa one of several that sparked Black Lives Matter protests around the nation.
