ST. LOUIS • A woman found shot to death Friday night in St. Louis still hasn't been positively identified, police say.

Officers called to a shooting just before 10 p.m. in the 3700 block of South Compton Avenue found a female shooting victim who wasn't conscious or breathing, police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

On Monday morning, police say they still do not know who she is. They also say they have no suspects in the homicide.

She had been shot multiple times, police say. The scene is about a block south of Gravois Park in the neighborhood of the same name. Gravois Park has recorded a drop in reported crime since 2016 but saw two fatal shootings and a fatal beating last year.
