WILDWOOD • Two drivers were killed and four passengers were injured in a two-vehicle crash near Highway 100 and Taylor Road early Saturday.

St. Louis County police said the crash happened about 2:15 a.m. Authorities identified the drivers as, Gary Osborne Sr., 72, of Flesher Drive in Ellisville, and Paula Turpiano, 35, of New Haven, Mo.

Police said Turpiano was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes on Highway 100, east of Taylor Road when her vehicle struck an SUV driven by Osborne Sr., and carrying five others. Turpiano was taken to a hospital, where she later died.

One passenger was treated at a hospital for serious injuries; three passengers were treated for minor injuries. An 8-month-old baby was in a car seat and was not injured.
