ST. LOUIS • A 15-year-old boy died Wednesday after he was shot in St. Louis' Kingsway East neighborhood Tuesday, marking the fifth child or teenager to die from gun violence in St. Louis this month.

Police found Derrel Williams, 15, of the 5000 block of Queens Avenue, lying in the street about 3 a.m. Tuesday with multiple gunshot wounds in the 4700 block of Cupples Place.

Williams was taken to a hospital and was listed in critical condition. He died from his injuries Wednesday, police said.
