PEVELY • Jefferson County prosecutors have charged a 17-year-old Valley Park man with four felonies after he allegedly broke into a Pevely apartment with three accomplices, one of whom pointed a gun at a four-month-old child.
Prosecutors on Thursday charged Chandler Bradshaw, of the 700 block of Vest Avenue in Valley Park, with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault, first-degree burglary and armed criminal action in connection with a March 2 home invasion in an apartment complex on Pevely Pointe Drive.
Prosecutors say Bradshaw entered the apartment and struck one of the victims, a man, with a handgun. The victim was treated for a concussion at a hospital.
One of the people who entered with Bradshaw pointed a gun at a woman and a four-month-old child who were also in the apartment. Bradshaw is accused of stealing $3,500 in cash, according to a probable cause statement.
Prosecutors asked that a warrant be issued for Bradshaw's arrest. It was not clear if he was in custody.
