ST. LOUIS • Police have identified a woman found shot to death Friday night in St. Louis.

Stefanie Pufahl, 36, was found dead in the 3700 block of South Compton Avenue after police were called to a shooting just before 10 p.m.

She had been shot multiple times, police say. Pufahl lived in the 2500 block of Shannon Avenue in Jennings, according to police.

The shooting scene is about a block south of Gravois Park in the neighborhood of the same name. Gravois Park has recorded a drop in reported crime since 2016 but saw two fatal shootings and a fatal beating last year.

Police have not released any information about a suspect or motive. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-8477.
