St. Louis branch of U.S. Bank is robbed


ST. LOUIS • No one was injured when a man robbed the U.S. Bank at 5375 Southwest Avenue at about 9:30 a.m. today. The bank is at the corner of Macklind and Southwest avenues.

The man came into the bank and handed a note to the teller. He indicated had a weapon but didn't show one, police say. He ran out of the front door of the bank and got into a gray or silver Chevrolet sedan.

The man is described as black, in his mid 20s with acne on his face. He wore a blue shirt, khaki pants, sunglasses and a grey baseball cap.
