FENTON — A Jefferson County man sexually assaulted a blind woman he had just met in a Fenton bar on Saturday, then threatened to shoot up the bar after being thrown out, charges say.
Shane Allison, 42, of the 300 block of Rocky Drive, was charged Sunday with felony sexual abuse in St. Louis County Circuit Court.
Charging documents give this account:
Allison approached a woman sitting at the bar at the 026 Bar at 515 Gravois Road on Saturday. After they started talking, Allison began touching the woman’s leg, and she told him to stop.
He then put his hand on her bra strap and wrapped his arm around her torso. The woman, who is legally blind, again told him to stop.
Allison then grabbed the woman’s vagina through her yoga pants “so hard that she could not remove his hand.”
People in the bar saw the attack and told Allison to leave. He began struggling with them and was forced out of the tavern, prompting him to threaten to return and open fire on the bar.
Police arrived and found Allison’s wallet at the bar. They went to his home and arrested him.
Allison was “highly intoxicated” when officers showed up at his house, and Allison said he didn’t remember what happened.
After arresting him and during the drive to the St. Louis County jail, Allison said “I want to know who this bitch is so I can kill her for doing this to me.”
Allison was being held on a $100,000 cash-only bail. No lawyer was listed for him in court records.
