Scott Causey is charged with running a prostitution business out of his Wildwood home.

WILDWOOD — A Wildwood man was charged Monday with running a prostitution ring out of his home.

Scott P. Causey, 69, of the 16400 block of Hickory Pine Lane, was charged with a felony count of promoting prostitution.

Charging documents say Causey in October "used his residence for 'nuru massages'" — a form of erotic massage — and "admitted to advertising women on various websites knowing that the women would perform sexual acts on men."

He could not be reached for comment and no lawyer was listed for him in court records.

A review for a business at Causey's address says it began in 2004 and was called "Health at Hand International." The Yelp site features a message from the owner saying the business specialized in holistic pain and stress management "using various orthopedic techniques and or herbal remedies." The page touts the business owner's training in the Navy, including orthopedic and physical therapy. It also says the owner worked as a paramedic with a fire department in St. Louis County.

Bail for Causey was set at $50,000. A jail photo of him was not immediately available Monday.
