ST. LOUIS — Two teenage boys were shot Wednesday evening after one of them accidentally pulled the trigger while holding a gun in the city's Carondelet neighborhood.
A 16-year-old boy was holding the gun around 6 p.m. in the 1000 of Eiler Street when he pulled the trigger and shot himself in the finger, police said.
That same bullet struck a second teenager, a 17-year-old boy, in his forearm, according to police.
They were both taken to the hospital for treatment and were in stable condition.Â
