JEFFERSON CITY — A nonprofit coordinating Gov. Mike Parson’s inauguration and related festivities has raised $369,115, the organization said Friday.

The funds went toward the costs of Parson’s inauguration and will pay for other events tied to the state’s bicentennial celebration later this year, a news release said.

Parson, a Republican elected to a four-year term in November, tapped numerous GOP donors, companies and trade groups to cover his inaugural events.

Among those who chipped in more than $5,000 for the festivities were Robert and Kim Brinkmann (Brinkmann Constructors), Charter Communications, Sam and Marilyn Fox, David and Thelma Steward (World Wide Technology), Enterprise Holdings Inc. PAC, Orscheln Management Co., and Veterans United Home Loans.

Smaller donors included the Missouri Pork PAC, the Missouri Cattlemen’s Association PAC, and Platte County Prosecuting Attorney Eric Zahnd.

“MMF will use remaining funds and additional funds raised over the next few months on the approaching bicentennial celebration to be held later this year,” said James Harris, co-chair of Moving Missouri Forward.

He said the biggest expense was hiring a production firm to film and livestream the event. Other costs included chair rental, invitations, a giant U.S. flag backdrop along the Capitol’s columns and program books.

Parson released more information about his inaugural fundraising activities than his predecessor. Former Gov. Eric Greitens broke with past traditions, only releasing a list of benefactors and not releasing their contribution amount or the total raised.

While Parson also didn’t release how much each contributor gave to pay for the ceremonies, his nonprofit did delineate between larger and smaller donors. Harris said no donations exceeded $50,000.

Here’s a list of all the donors to Parson’s inauguration reported Friday:

• $500 to $5,000: Sam and Marsha Alexander, Bewley Leasing LLC, Sherry Doctorian, Kristi Gardner, Laura Gerding, MBA State PAC, MBA River Heritage Region PAC, MBA Ozark Region PAC, MBA Mark Twain Region PAC, MBA Capitol Region PAC, Missouri Cattlemen’s Association PAC, Missouri Farm Bureau Services Inc., Missouri Pork PAC, Missouri Soybean Association, MOSFA PAC Inc., Kenneth & Kim Weymuth, James R. Williams LLC, and Eric and Tracy Zahnd.

PAC, Ambassador Sam and Marilyn Fox, IMA Inc., Missouri Realtors, Motorola Solutions Inc., Orscheln Management Co., Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr. Pepper Bottling Co., Belle Louise Hart Schmidt, David and Thelma Steward, Jeffrey and Anna Tegethoff, United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of Plumbing and Pipefitters, United Healthcare Services Inc., and Veterans United Home Loans.
