St. LOUIS • Antwan Lamar Hamilton, 20, of the 4000 block of Greer Avenue in St. Louis, faces six felony counts after St. Louis police said he pulled a woman from a sidewalk at gunpoint and attempted to rape her in the rear of a home.
The incident happened January 23 in the 3900 block of Turner Avenue.
Hamilton was charged Wednesday in St.Louis with kidnapping, three counts of armed criminal action, attempted forcible rape, and forcible sodomy. Court documents said Hamilton also choked the victim.
He is currently on probation for a tampering charge and is being held on no bond.
