The seventh annual World Naked Bike Ride last weekend drew about 2,500 cyclists, making this the largest-ever turnout in STL.
Organizers said STL placed third, behind only Philadelphia and Portland, Ore. The post-ride party in The Grove drew more than 6,000 revelers.
"The ride is putting St. Louis on the map as a bike friendly, environmentally and globally conscious, creative and inclusive city," race organizer Tatyana Telnikova said.
The ride aims to protest oil dependency, raise awareness of cyclists' rights and advocate positive body image.
