This table displays year-over-year changes in sales tax revenue for all Missouri municipalities, according to a Post-Dispatch analysis of Missouri Department of Revenue data.

Caveats:

- If a municipality is listed with a T or X in parenthesis after the municipality name, those areas represent special taxing districts or annexed areas, respectively.

- 2017 totals may change as late or amended returns are submitted to the department.

- Cities' sales tax revenue history and taxable sales reports published by the department may not match up completely because of timing. Taxable sales reports reflect amounts reported for a specific year but could be reflected in a previous year's report. For example, all the fourth quarter returns due on January 31, 2018, will eventually be reflected on the fourth quarter of the 2017 taxable sales reports. However, those funds are distributed to cities in 2018.

- If a year-over-year change is not displayed for a municipality, it means there was no data for one or both years.
