The St. Louis Area Diaper Bank and Operation Food Search partnered with the St. Louis County Library to host a drive-up give away of meals and diapers at four different libraries in the county. Over 18,000 diapers at all the sites were given away to people who drove up in their vehicles and requested the items. Organizers are planning to do the diaper and food give away event again next Friday at the Florissant Valley, Lewis & Clark, Natural Bridge, and Weber Road Branches of the St. Louis County Library between 10 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Period supply kits from the St. Louis Alliance for Period Supplies will also be available for those interested. Additionally on Monday and Wednesday, county libraries will also be giving out bagged meals-to-go at nine different locations, a list of which can be found at slcl.org. On Friday 5,712 meals were given out at the nine different locations.
